A towering and domineering force of seething, zealous rage and terrible intent, the Fanatic is a monk who has gone rogue from the Church to hunt down and slaughter anyone and anything affected by the Crimson Curse anywhere it can be found. His heavily scarred face reveals a storied past of brutal and consequential encounters with the mutated inhabitants of the Courtyardfrom which he has spilled unimaginable amounts of heathen blood. At his disposal are several iconic weapons and tools for slaying vampires; stakes, garlic, crosses and prayers.
However, his most dangerous weapon is his unwavering conviction in the righteousness of his cause and the zealous fervor with which he pursues it, even if it means putting himself directly in harm's way.
At times, the line between fervor and the wish for self-destruction can become precariously blurred. To him, anyone or anything he merely even suspects to be tainted by the Crimson Curse must be cleansed in flames.
Over the years, countless scores of innocent men and women have been burned at the stake without trial or a single ounce of pity or mercy by this madman in his single-minded pursuit to eradicate the Crimson Curse from the land. He will not rest until the last vampire has been hunted down and heaped upon the pyre or until the last breath has been drawn from his body. While some may say or view him as misunderstood, overzealous, or even a fallen hero, this does not alter the fact that he has deemed himself to be judge, jury and executioner and that, given the chance, he would gladly incinerate the Hamlet and all who reside there in order to "save" their souls or worse, unintentionally awaken the horror below from the slaughter of the adventurers who had the unfortunate incident to become afflicted by the disease.
He is a menace that must be put down like the rabid dog he has become. He is a wandering boss, like The Collector and Shamblerand will hunt down your heroes, should they wander into a dungeon bearing the Crimson Curse. He will not appear in the game until a town event occurs announcing his arrival.
Once he has appeared, he will randomly spawn somewhere inside a dungeon whenever you bring a party with members afflicted by the Crimson Curse in it. If the game decides that the Fanatic is to appear during an expedition, a special loading screen with his face will show when the Dungeon is loading. This is your primary warning that he is lurking somewhere within. The Fanatic will not spawn in boss quests due to their loading screen having priority over his.
This makes bringing any amount of cursed heroes to these quests safe. Upon entering battle, the Fanatic will always surprise the party. If you decide to run away from the Fanatic, he will appear in the next encounter, fulfilling his promise to hunt "the Cursed" down.
He will spawn in the two back ranks with his stake and pyre in the front two rows.
During the first turn of the battle, he will perform "Sentence Rendered" on one of your heroes. The Fanatic has three turns per round. While a character is burning at the stake, he will attack with 3 actions every round. His attacks move him forward and cause debuffs, bleed, stuns, and horror, and he has bonus damage against cursed and marked heroes, while his buffs move him backwards away from the front line.
Similarly to the Haga hero currently burning at the stake will not retreat with the rest of the party if the party retreats from combat, but will instead count as having died.
In addition, if this hero had any trinkets on them when you retreated from combat, those trinkets will be lost. Unlike the Hag's cauldronthe Fanatic's pyre does not restore its durability after a hero gets released from it.
If the pyre is destroyed, the Fanatic will use Fury of the Righteous as his first move on every round, dealing physical and stress damage to your entire team in order to avenge his pyre. Subsequent Fanatic defeats will yield gem loot and other trinkets related to the Crimson Curse. Additionally, he can drop a special item known as The Cure. Any hero who uses it will be immediately healed from The Crimson Curse. The Fanatic is a relentless boss that you may not be prepared for when he decides to attack.
At 3 turns per round, dots will progress incredibly fast on the Fanatic, which is also vulnerable to bleeds, but not blights. If you prefer direct strikes, consider the Grave Robber or Shieldbreaker to pierce his prot. Riposte is also quite useful, due to his numerous turns. On Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 17, Danny and Baez try to arrest a notorious gangster who appears to have people covering for him inside the department.

Deteriorating Brownstones reach to the sky, crumbling from the weight of time. Wires and pipes crisscross the sky, the only evidence of a futuristic setting, they hold up the city like the strings of a marionette. An expansion packThe Nightmare Levelswas released the next year which contained a new single-player episode consisting of six levels, some new multiplayer options, and bug fixes.
A European -marketed combo pack called The Blood Group containing both the original game and its expansion pack was later released; the same name was also adopted for the GOG. This is still the title used for the Steam release, first made available on July 14, alongside the original Bloodand the one used when Blood II is sold directly by Atari from its website.
The game takes place in the yeara hundred years after the events in the first game. Many of the fantastical and mystical elements of the first game have given way to a more realistic dystopian environment. The Cabal has gone from a mystical cult to a world-wide corporation.
Many of the weapons reflect their Blood counterparts, but have been reinterpreted in more scientific and technological ways. The locations, instead of being largely temples and mountains, have changed to run-down factories, office buildings, and gritty urban environments, with only a few more mystical levels.
The music has even changed to reflect this new style, having a dark techno-industrial feel only slightly laced with the occult. However, the game's signature graphic violence and gore have not changed, as well as its dark sense of humour. The second most common kind of Cabal member, they act similarly to Cultistsbut use various fully automatic firearms instead of shotguns. They have the same amount of hit points as Cultists, but their high rate of fire combined with their accuracy and numbers makes them a bigger threat, especially at long range.
Keep your ears tuned for the deadly sounds of dynamite as they sometimes offer explosives instead. They behave just like Cultists, but their Tommy Gun gives them a greater advantage, due to its repeated fire, accuracy, and effectiveness at long range. They also appear in slightly fewer numbers. Unlike default Cultists and contrary to the games official manualFanatics cannot attack with TNT bombsexcept on the original 1.
In the Blood Alphathe cultists also do not yet melt away upon death as they do in the final version. They share the same voice samples as the Cultist, only slightly pitch shifted, which have been attributed to Stephan Weyte.
They're better equipped and more experienced, and they possess a slightly faster reaction time. They still don't post much of a threat. Watch them, though. Occasionally, when you think you've put one down, he'll go berserk and return your attack. Jump to: navigationsearch. Blood 2 Fanatic. Personal tools Not logged in Talk Contributions Log in.

They have the least strength, but are plentiful. If you interrupt their dark rituals, they'll want to teach you a lesson in respect.
They're equally fond of shotguns, Tommy guns, and dynamite, so be sure you're ready for a fight before you tangle with them. Their long service to the Cabal has eroded their fear as well as their sanity, and they'll stop at nothing to feed your soul to their dark master.
Cultists who are sometimes called "Monks" by fans are everywhere, hunting for Caleb. They typically wield sawed-off shotguns but only discharge one barrel at a time, unlike Caleb who can discharge both barrelsor lob TNT bundles like grenades at higher difficulty levels.
They are not terribly smart, but hide behind doors or walls. They are surprisingly accurate and deadly, and can serve as a great threat while larger enemies like gargoyles attack.
The robed cultists reappear in The Nightmare Levelswhen Caleb flashes back to his battle in the frozen north and again in a map set in the old west. Again they wield sawed-off shotguns and spout cultist curses. They were originally intended to make a return in Blood II proper, but were not developed in time.
The only Blood enemy to appear as they were previously in the sequel is the Hell Hand. Wielding shotguns these robed menaces give you a good fight. They may also lob dynamite at you from time to time, so listen for the telltale hiss and be ready to dive for cover.
Their iconic voicing is usually attributed to Stephan Weytethe voice of Calebthough even he does not remember for sure:. However, when I've listened to snatches of Blood, I do recognize my voice in some other characters but for the life of me, I can't really remember doing them though, again, I'm pretty sure it's me. I probably tossed them off very quickly in some recording session In the Blood Alphathe cultists also do not yet melt away upon death as they do in the final version.
These early initiates are recruited, or brainwashed, into service from inside the Cabalco Corporation. They dress in official corporate attire so that their presence will not be obtrusive, allowing them to integrate into any aspect of normal society. They are only trained in a limited arsenal of weapons, mostly handguns, and in combat situations their lack of training prevents them from working effectively together. In Blood II: The Chosencultists are still the lowest-ranking minions of the Cabalserving as cannon fodder, but are much less deadly and accurate.
With the conversion of the Cabal to a corporate empire, so has its staff. These are early CabalCo initiates that are recruited and brainwashed into service. Their training consists only of a psyche profile and brain wipe. Within the company, they are used for missions of little importance - security and intimidation - and have low intelligence.
Otherwise, they would have risen to a higher rank in the Cabal. Often they are used as human shields or distractions for more important Cabal members. They wield pistols and flare guns only, and their lack of combat training prevents them from knowing how to coordinate an effective attack. They are more of a minor annoyance than their previous incarnations, and lack firepower and accuracy. They are not as common as they were in the original Blood. Fanatics instead take on much the same role as the Cultists did in the first game.
They are dressed in bright multi-coloured suits, have painted faces, and still wield pistols. They are employees of the circus featuring JoJoand appear in C5L3: JoJo's Big Adventurewhere Ishmael is attempting to escape from his employment as the circus freak. Jump to: navigationsearch.
